Messages From The Editorial Board members

· It seems only yesterday when I first came into this school amidst nature’s beauty. Time crawls when we are having a tough time. But my time here has flown swiftly due to kind help and guidance of our dear teachers, other staff members and students. I won’t hesitate to say that this is the best school I’ve ever been to with the best 2nd parent I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. Sadly many of the problems we encountered this year is due to the mental boundary which separates the students from different former schools, particularly in classes XI and XII. It is what we call ‘groupism’. For instance, all the ex-students of school xyz form a single group for a trip on say, a trekking. This in turn makes the remaining feel left out and lead to their forming a similar group, comprising of the students of their former school. This feeling of differentness should not be allowed to breed, and I think this lies in the hands of the school authority and the present class XI, who can show good examples to the forthcoming fresher. As we’re told time n’ again, we are all T.C.V.ians.- despite our different former schools we share the same mother( Ama Jetsun Pema la), the same family, the same motto and the same mission. We are TCV and I am very proud to be its member.

· Dear fellow students of Gopur,
This good school consist of students from different branches of T.C.V. And we (Arts students) are all here leaving our old schools and becoming a student of T.C.V Gopalpur. T.C.V Gopalpur is yet a branch school of the big educational institute “T.C.V”. It’s just like we’ve shifted from a home to another one, meeting our new brothers and sisters of same family. It is true that at first we may face small problems being unfamiliar to the new environment. Even I confronted that too. But then its just a matter of time that we’ll again feel at home. I enjoyed being here and hope you too will feel the same!
With best wishes for a great Board results and (then) a bright future,
Dukthen Kyi XII ‘B’.

· Dear Gopalpur,
Its so difficult to write in words what I actually feel for you. Because I know they will never be enough. Eight years ago I first stepped into your lap. Since then till now you cuddled me with love and care. I am going to miss you. That's for sure. But before I bid you goodbye I have some words for you. "Keep up your spirit; never loose the faith. You can make difference in a student's life, just as you did to mine. Thank you. Thank you very much."

· Dear everybody,
This short message is to request you all to enthusiastically focus more on study to become a proud Tibetan in future. And always respect your elders and be yourself secure by cocoon of politeness. “education without character is lifeless”.

· Dear friends
“As you sow, so you reap.” is a famous saying. We are here to sow seed of success and glory for Tibet. With great hardship and torture we have crossed the Himalayas and left our beloved country and inflicted pain in our hearts? The snow-capped mountain is our beloved land and the rusty face people our brothers and sisters. Tibet and Tibetans place their hopes on us. So sow your seed properly from now onwards and remember that the seed sown in child hood is not sown in vain. Never forget that some one needs your help to rise up. I am very indebted and owe a great to our advisor Gen Wangchuk lak and other members. I really enjoyed my work. Thank you each and everyone. Lastly wish you a happy reading.
The Yours friend,

· Dear friends,
Read more books and digest. As saying goes, reading makes full man, conference ready man and writing exact man. I am pleased to work with school magazine and it is moment of pleasant to recall.

· Dear Friends,
It is said "Don't care what people say, do it if it's fair. Because, they will always find something to say whether you do it or you don't". I would like to tell you to grab opportunities when they are at your door because it never returns. Nevertheless success is achieved through sheer struggle and strain. And yes, tackle the things that life may cruelly throw at you.
Thanks and La Vida Feliz.
Yangchen Wangmo Ragon

· By taking this opportunity, I thank our home amala for her loving heart, our genlas for their great teachings and guidance, and all other staff members including our restless nurses. Jamten VIII B
