OTHERS BEFORE SELF IN ACTION:
“Come to learn, go to serve” True to this motto, in the many milestones of TCV Gopalpur’s development, we have yielded fruitful result in the field of moral education as well as social services. We have come up with a number of voluntary committees such as Voluntary Group, Shenphen, Foster Sisters, Environment Club, School Health Committee, etc. Creating a little niche for them in our school magazine is a simple gesture to say we really appreciated your selfless service.. Shenphan Group:
They are the people who proved “others before self” in action. Their devoted altruism and dedication knows no bounds. They do their best to ensure our health and sanitation. They go to the extend of doing jobs considered lowly by others like, cleaning toilet, burning garbage, cleaning dispensary, etc. In a nut shell, they leave no stones unturned in our school to make it a better place to live and study. We do like the clean environment we walk by and fresh airs to breathe, but nobody really thinks of the people who work hard for that. So, I am reminding you to remember them and their great deeds. Because they are simply wonderful.
Voluntary Group:
It is the voluntary group, which has been adding oil to the wheels of this school and a constant force behind every successful program. They are the inextinguishable fire of dedication and allegiance that blow high behind the scenes. So, these heroes should never be left unheard and unnoticed.
Voluntary Sisters:
“Kindness in words create confidence and kindness in action create love.” Although our school is a home away from home, we have a very warm family atmosphere, still a beautiful and touching tradition has come into being a couple of years back. That is sisters keeping little ones for care and love. It’s such a heart melting sight, when the big sisters take their little brothers or sisters to school canteen, tuck shops and to the parks to talk, play and to listen. I am sure that this bond will bring better changes to both of them.
Environment Club:
Each year class IXD has to take the responsibility of our school garbage sorting and planting trees. And this year’s IX D with class teacher Gen Tsering Dikyi la has done tremendous job and their works are well seen in the peace zone if you ever get to walk by. No hindrances can halt them once they are set on their job. We really appreciate the enthusiasm and dedication to our environment and yes madam, you have been doing a great job since some years as I remember being myself one of your fellow club members.

We would like to thank and show our appreciations to following unsung heroes:
Kunchok Migmar la, board in charge: Tashi la and Tenzin Gyaltsen la, Library and Computer Lab Cleaners and The Mantra Teachers to the Junior Students.
