STUDENT WRITE-UPS<./h3>
My feelings toward animals
My name is lucky. I am a dog. I have a peculiar body and my furs are white. I am very small and I think that’s why my master loves me so much.
My master is a cook. He has hearing problem but he’s very kind. I have so many friends; they are human beings. They like to touch me and aren’t afraid of me. I like my owner; he always makes omelet for me and sometimes even prepares special dishes for me, like chicken because he knows that I don’t eat rice and pulses. He is so sweet. During summer he gives me bath and lets me sleep beside him, he believes I am his best guard.
There’s a girl who loves to play with me. She calls my name and whistles whenever I have a bad mood. That makes me happily bark at her. She never gets annoyed because she loves me.
When all the girls go to class, I get all alone. There is nothing interesting except for some busy houseflies buzzing around me. I try to indulge myself in catching these flies but its useless. I never succeed in catching them. My master then knowingly comes to play with me. When he’s preparing food, he throws things like a potato at a distance and orders me to fetch it back to him. I then go to get the potato but instead of fetching it to him I act as if I am eating it. My master never gets angry; he just smiles and leaves me tearing at the potato.
I always try to be sincere to my master. When he’s alone in the kitchen I roam around him and give him company. Even though I am of no help in preparing meals, I keep him happy by just being there.

Mother’s love is sweetest
Actually we all know how important a mother is in our life. According to me, she’s the one who cares for us in many ways. But there are different ways of loving. Sweetest of them all is the way our mom loves us. Love between girls and boys are nothing but just a mere sharing of interests and things. Compared to all, mother’s love is eternal. She works hard to develop us into smart human beings. They worry about our future and us. Because of these reasons I love my mother the most.

My favorite person
There are numerous people in the world and each of them has different profession. As for me, I am a student. Many people have their own favorite person. According to me a favorite person should be one who works hard, who is helpful and good in everything. Here I am going to write about my favorite person.
Gen Namdolma is my favorite person. I am a student of her and she teaches me mathematics. She teaches very well and helps poor children like me. These kind things that she did for me will remain with me forever; I will never forget them. She came from Tibet when she was just a small girl to study and become a respectable teacher like she’s right now.
When she is teaching, we are to sit silent and pay full attention. Clearing doubts is so easy because she never gets angry on asking questions. I am proud to be in this school because it has such good teachers like her. When I was in class three, I was very poor in all the subjects, especially mathematics. But in class four she taught us mathematics and now it’s my best subject. I improved a lot by her teaching.
Because of such good things of her all our students like her very much. For me she’s just like my godmother.
Lastly I hope that you will achieve success in everything you do and live a long and healthy life.
Tenzin Kalsang
My favorite teacher
Teachers are like a walking stick for a blind man. They pass on the knowledge that they have acquired to their students.
My favorite teacher is Gen Phuntsok Dolkar and Gen Tenzin Dolma. Gen Phuntsok Dolkar is very nice and kind but she has left our school. She is still in my heart. My second best teacher is Gen Tenzin Dolma, because she teaches mathematics very well. During class seven she taught us mathematics but by then I was very poor in that subject. It was her who showed us some magic that now our students are all good in mathematics. Whenever we have her period I feel happy and excited. I wonder what topic she’s going to teach. I love her patience and hard work. I hope all her steps bring her success and happiness. Thank you genla for your efforts.

School life is the part of human beings life.
Which opens our dull eyes to the audiences of the world.
School life has also its own advantages, its color and its pitfalls.
The period of life spent in the school is the most enjoyable and at the same time,
The most constructive part of one’s life.
School life is the most wonderful and important period of life for me.

To whom do you admire the most?
Life is a journey and during my existence on this very vast and miracle world, I have came through lots of both happy and unhappy moments and also by dealing with numerous people having various attitudes.
Yet, his holiness the Dalai Lama is the only one among the rest who can help in reality when the need arises.
Sometimes, I wonder the way of his managing time without minute out a single second, instead all are for the contribution of others sake. He had pulled the destitute fellows of Tibet from the hell of grief and more so he has been a never-ending source of support from the very beginning of his ruling the nation in 1950 at a tender age of sixteen.
Till now he has been acting the rule of light of the sun spreading light to every single sentient being of the universe. His unceasing and unfailing hard work for the freedom of Tibet and also for the peace of whole world will surely succeed one day, as the saying floats by, “where there is will, there is a way.”
In a nutshell, I really admire our spiritual and temporal leader for everything he has done for each and every individual of the entire world without any selfishness.
Lastly, glory light and I with the bright provides by our lord will never set away and instead I wish it will remains forever and ever.

My first day in Gopalpur School
I was very lucky and happy day in my life. When I first entered this school on 28th may 1998. that morning we had twenty five children came each other. During that time, we were very curious to go for school. After two hours, we were reach in near side by zoo and also there were many Indian shops. In a few minutes, we started going to school on the way, I found a narrow road. Weather was still and bad and we faced lots of problems.
Immediately, I saw a school play ground and staff homes. But that time school construction was still on the process. That’s why in the school, there are nearly hundreds of students. We were the second group arrived in the school. Fortunately, majority of the students are from Tibet like me and after some days, we then got opportunity to join opportunity class. That is my first glimpse of experience in Gopalpur school.

As I am a student
As I am a student I have immense responsibilities. I am a future seed of Tibet; I must struggle for my country’s freedom. Some of the students study for a happy life ahead but I am not like that-I study for my country. I can feel the sorrow of our people. Their sadness makes me unhappy.
Hey you all youngsters in exile!
Don’t wander around to waste your time. Remember that we are refugees. Don’t look at others; they are different from us. Roaming here and there will do no good; instead it will rot you one day. Don’t take drugs or smoke, you shouldn’t forget that you are a future seed of Tibet. Be faithful to your nation and your own soul. Never get your identity lost. Study hard, respect your elders and do your duties well. One day you will achieve your goals, so don’t give up. Our leader will guide us whenever we are down.
I hate to think of us children as wanderers in the streets. So never be one like that.

Dream of my land
In my dream, I was watching over my land. My mother was washing clothes and father was busy with his work. I saw a beautiful scene of Lhasa in my dream. But there were Chinese troops killing our people. Tears ran down my cheeks and my dream came to an end that very moment. Mother was waking me up saying, “See what’s this. Why are you crying?” I stood up quickly and went to the mirror. Well, my eyes were red from crying!

Visit to a hospital
It is very sad and boring for me to visit a hospital because all the patients are pale, weak and lazy. When I see them I feel worried and that’s how it’s a trouble for me to visit a hospital. I consider the doctors as the kindest person because they give their whole life for the benefit of such poor people. So I think that even though life in hospital is not a good one, it’s the most dignified one that one can lead.

Friend
Friend is a simple word with deep meaning. A real friend is hard to find but easy to lose indeed. A fraud friend will encourage you to fight with others and be with you just because of the advantages that he can take of you. Once satisfied he will never be a trustworthy friend. A real friend is one who will help you when you are in need of help. He will always remain true to you. He will guide you to find benefits from life instead of pushing you in pitfalls. I think it’s impossible to live without a real friend. To balance your sorrows and joys you need an intimate friend. Success comes when you are working with your friend.
So it’s a must to choose a friend who loves you and care for you. But more important is to stay in touch.

Why must I study?
A person is accustomed to do something in life because of certain reasons. They may or may not favor the reasons but they go on doing it.
I’m a student of eleventh grade and till now I had been brought up studying something. Education has influenced the world and it’s undoubtedly the strongest weapon to defend oneself from every danger. I’m attending schools today in order to be educated someday though I know that there is no boundary where knowledge stops.
Why must I study? I’m the seventh and the youngest daughter of my parents and all my six elder sisters had done their part of duty well. There are several reasons as to why I must study. They are as follows:
My country Tibet, is in a stage of great misery and danger. Our Tibetan government headed by his holiness, has great hope on each and every Tibetan. When a home is in danger, all members of the family rise up to defend it. Likewise, I being a daughter of this Tibetan family, I feel some duty over my shoulder which, the honorable heads expect from every individual like me. So I must study so that I can be able to be of some use to my country. Secondly, its my family members hope and expectations on me that gives boost to my stamina to study. They are sending me to school to study, to make me ready to face my future with no regrets. They want to make me stand on my own feet and be self reliant. It is their love and support that has made me, what I’m today. In life, who will live and who will not, is unknown but they want me to be self sufficient and bold, no matter what. I love them the most so I don’t have the heart to hurt their feelings. So I must study when the time is in my hands. Thanks to TCV that my life is bestowed with wonderful teachers. Their teachings are so powerful so as to guide us physically, mentally and morally. I want to make the most efficient use of the knowledge they impart us and I wish to be a useful product of their hard work. It’s every teachers’ wish to see their students grow up with proper knowledge and guidance and so I want to work yup to their expectations.
These days getting a job is not difficult but getting a dignified job is. The people of the world are so challenging and very competitive, only the better educated will survive. I want to study hard so that I can get a dignified, will paid and a comfortable job. If one has the knowledge, choices can be made. I want to use my knowledge to make my living worthwhile. I want to earn a lot because there are so many people whom I’m very thankful to. I cannot repay their kindness because the kindness of others can never be returned but I want to help them when they’ll age and make them feel happy and satisfied with what they had done for me in the past. My father is not alive today but he had left my mother with me to see him through my mother’s eyes. I want to make my mother happy and bring before her all the worldly pleasures. I want to serve her and my late father through her. In all these processes, I forgot to mention about my loving gods. The almighty gods have given me this wonderful chance to study so I must study so that in the lives to come, he will bestow me with better opportunity and the same people to love me the way they did before because I believe in the saying “god help those who help themselves”.

The cheerful children
The little children don’t know what to do with themselves, when their parents are not with them. But I think that’s when they are most happy. What ever they do or wherever they go, they are free. They don’t have to do any work. They eat, play and go to bed, that’s all. They have parents to look after their needs. Their parents are like pillars that support them. They teach them how to think positively and avoid negative thoughts.
Little children don’t have problems. They do whatever they like. They go everywhere when their parents are with them but don’t wander alone because they lack confidence. They also don’t know what is good, what is bad and how to talk with others. They do what their parents tell them to do.
These little children cry and cheer up in a moment. My childhood days were also like that. I used to feel like I was in paradise.

The meaning of life
We are the visitors on this planet, so we have to know the true meaning of life in order to have meaningful life. As it comes once and only once. We have to spend life in a meaningful way, for instance, by being kind to others and not talking bad of them. We shouldn’t waste our life because it’s the most precious thing, instead we should make it better bye developing ourselves. If we know the true meaning of life we will do our best to make it as good as possible. Anything is possible if you have the will. So do your best!

I share your solidarity
Let’s be real! No essay…just a plain feeling. Hello buddy, I mean all of you, acquaintance and non, chic and meek, strong and wrong. Let me tell you a thing or two. Do any of you know that I respect each of you because you happen to be you? I respect the things you do to be a better human being. I love to see people dream and work for it.
“I love the diligence of success, I respect the modesty of meek, I adore the spunk of chic, I appreciate the sincerity of loyal. I acknowledge the regrets of the wrong. I respect the humbleness of the failure.”
Some of you might find it unconvincing. So let me tell you that it’s reasonable enough that we got a same motherland, that we dwell under the same divine ray, that in the end we are all confused people. This knowledge further cemented my solidarity. So when one of you stand before the crowd and make the dumpiest mistake, I may laugh at the absurdity of it but I will never take you as being wrong. In fact, I respect your gut to be up there. If one of you succeed and another failed, it might imply something about your tactics and ability, but in reality you two are same person learning the sub topics of life differently. And if one of you are raffish and another reticent, it might affect the horizon of your friend circle, but to me you two are not an opposite because one thinks and another speaks that. I hope you are getting me, my revelation. And the happiest part of this belief is that it’s not me but all of us feel this way tacitly. We may not express, we may not listen but we still share each other’s solidarity because we are the product of a same universe.

An unforgettable friend
It’s a great pleasure to feel the gratitude of fate to favor me such a friend like you. But its injustice to abandon you also. You are the flower from which I such the nectar of life but also the thorn from which I suffered most. I learned how to bond a friendship and feel the joys to be friend. That creates beautiful moments to be cherished always and keep remembering your struggles towards me. Here I am overcoming every difficulties and facing the competitive world. Hope you can be an unbroken friend of mine for ever and ever. I really want to face my solitary life with you, but truly I can only recall those happy moments we shared together. You are always flashing before my eyes and I can’t look my heart from missing you.
The love of friend is a promise that two hearts make to stay together forever. I can meet if the fate permit and miss you my friend K.W.

Flowering of Love
What we have in us is just the phony love to say “I love you” without knowing what he is saying. When we came to light the demands and conditions put on it on a mature reflection, we can easily discern that it was devoid of love and the whole humanity pretended to be in love. Because, to the young off-springs-it is the pleasure of playing hand in hand with the sprouting of the bud, to the adolescent puberties-it is known as love just an infatuation with the blossoming of the spring. To the ripe old couples-it is the feeling of togetherness in dependency.
Notwithstanding, human being has been under a gloss illusion, all they accept as love is absence of its true purport. They just play spoilsports of love by being judges to themselves. Because true love is unconditional, absolute and limited to no conditions. Consequently, I fear lest you know that our love is a falsehood owing to our closed hearts from the cradle.
For an instance, if you love someone and you can’t have the person, then love will grow more intense. As Osho rightly quote “More barriers, the more intensely love will be felt”. But if you could win that beloved easily, then love will die easily. Because the hindrances there be, the more ego feels it necessary to do. That is why once honeymoon is over love is old.
No less, to its de-facto meaning, all these are figment of imaginations fabricated as “Love”. But true love is unborn within our heart and unsung to the rational ears. Since humanity lived in fear his heart has been closed from the cradle. A newly born baby opens all window and doors of his heart, but seeing elders bigger and more powerful he develops a sense of fear and tension, a siege mentality which leads to the closing of his mind. Ever since love has been camouflaged within our heart. Thus unfortunately humanity continues to live in fear: the fear of loss, the fear of dependency and the fear of negligence.
The love arises out of deep respect and gratitude. Seeing your unconditional love which ask nothing in response with someone not to be afraid to a child for his parents which is also called platonic, love of pure intension. It is done with opening of heart as being capable of receiving love from.
But manipulation of love is an art between two souls who begs love the other. Therefore it becomes a spoilsports to conclude, in a state of true peace and tranquility, fear will disappear and your heart is opened. Opened to the true love. On account of which true love is flowered in deep meditation.

I
‘I’ is an English word meaning yourself or the self. Actually I is a very big word, you want yourself first not the last. You always want you to be happy. You always feel that you are the best. All these things make the person so jealous and rude because I is a word which I must be the first. To avoid I is very difficult, all people on this earth other than God have ego in his/her mind. So if people have no ego, then they live happily in or outside the world, so we should avoid I if possible. I am not telling that I have no ego but I have more number of desire or people in my heart so I forget to act egoistic.

He is captured in an invisible bar
In a bright and early morning, I set off towards the garden for morning fresh oxygen. The melodious birds were chirping freely and flying peacefully in the immaculate sky, even the small insects were walking on the roadside in a dauntless way and the beautiful flowers were growing happily in our splendid garden.
Alas! We the Tibetan people have neither emancipation to live happily and nor rights to sing peacefully as those animate beings in our own motherland. Nevertheless, our great lamas are engulfing in the darkness of Chinese.
The second highest lama of Tibet was kidnapped on 11th of the year 1995 when he was only 6 years old. Even though it is a very illegal work to sentence such a small boy, the Chinese took him away without having any sense of pity or embarrassment. Since then ten years have faded away we still don’t know where he is and how he is. I am falling in deep suspicion, whether he is getting a chance to reside with his parents, as the Chinese claim. We all are simple fellow to follow 11th Panchen Lama but we didn’t get to see him, but only his photo. So without him how can we revive from the sickness at the heart? At last I come to cross my fingers united and pray to God for his well-being and freedom from the evil hands of Chinese.

Laziness is the worst thing
According to me, a lazy student who doesn’t like work, doesn’t obey their parents and also create all sort of trouble in the society, suffer a lot. In the class he will sleep on desk and also do nonsense things. Actually I am a little bit lazy by nature, but sometimes from that way I get a lot of experience of how one feels during such a situation. We all know that lazy students will fail in their exams, remain unhopeful and also may get frequent punishment from the teachers. Since we are human being, we all desire to be a successful person in the world. Indeed it is not an easy job for us, when we do we face all sort of obstacles and complication so many people easily lose their encourage so they feel lazy and bored.
So I hope that no matter, what is going on in one life, if you face problem you should always think that there will be a success in future. Try to face problems with happy heart and try to solve it, that is the source of great joy in your life. If you do nothing in the life, you will get nothing in your life.

Make sincere appreciation for other’s efforts.
We should open the mind or core of our heart to appreciate others if he/she did something good for you. suppose your home mother has prepared a delicious food, while having that food, you must appreciate her for making such a nice food for you by saying “wow!! This food is really fantastic. Thank you mother”. Hearing this her self esteem will go up and she will know that you can understand her case and concern and will try to make more delicious food for you.
So my request is that make self esteem on other’s sincere efforts. Thank you.

“Looks are often deceptive”
This axiom I got familiar with when I was in X grade. But then I wasn’t able to comprehend it comprehensively. I took it as people pretending to be something they aren’t. but today after some quick years found another perception. It means you are not yourself. Otherwise how come people wear camouflage to get in tune with society. See, very often we are tempted to follow our heart, but instead end up doing what our mind says just because we are expected to be proper, nice and smart which we may not be. After all we are just human being. Not so perfect, not so smart.
Each of us has got equal inclination to be good and bad owing to the immediate circumstances. So nobody can say he’s good and he’s bad all the time. If so, where is the essence of change? And still more we can’t be instinctive and natural. We don’t express all we feel and do all we want. We think something and do something else. So those who live on instinct is categorized as being tactless. A person who is oblivious to this tactic phenomena doesn’t follow these rules and is soon showered with unpleasant stares. So it end in the way that people are not themselves. The façade is made up not grown up. I may sound inordinately negative just because I’m following my instinct so I might be wrong. But it happens at your late teen when you are meant to be mature, elegant and chic. So it may not be J-Lo’s “What you get is what you see all the time.” Make sense?

Way To Everlasting Happiness
Dearest schoolmates of Gopur, have you ever asked yourself when the day start that how my day should be to make our precious human as an extraordinary garden, where the love, care, compassion, generosity, benevolence, etc. can cultivate. Well, if I am not wrong, I think to meet our ultimate desire to be happy and eliminate the never ending suffering. Self sacrifice is best of the best. The more care to oneself, more will be sufferings. This is a fact of life which are always experiencing in our daily life. So, its better to spend our precious human life for the sake of others. Act for other’s welfare, think for other’s welfare, speak for other’s welfare. Make sure that from all the three doors(mind, body, speech) we are doing each and everything for the sake of others. This is the only way to the enlightenment and also in present life we will have satisfactory life. It is my experience till now and I want you all to examine it and fight for peace and happiness.
Lastly may peace prevail on earth and may His Holiness live a long life and exercise Buddhism and turn the world into a zone of peace.

Message from my life journey in Gopalpur.
“Life is a journey, not a destination,” is the universal acceptance. We may turn to many journeys in life either smooth or arduous, but the most important is to leave the footprints on each of them. As I approach to the demarcation of departure from my long run of desperation and distress.
Nevertheless, I have to undergo the inevitable principle of life’s storm I have come with the following words from my experiences and exposures in TCV Gopalpur in the last few years in the form of message to my ever impeccable staffs and fellow students.
From the very commencement of our life in asylum state here, we could have procured the unwavering love and care in the lapses of our staff members as if our veritable parents.
Your dedication and indefatigable hard works have natured as what we are today and tomorrow in the community. Only a life lived for other is a life worth while. It is your authentic fortune to serve your life time service to the children of Tibet, whose is deprived of the educational assessment in the past and who will be the main builder of future Tibet. Your altruism and sincere supports has always been the source of inspiration and motivation in our life and the feeling of genuine gratitude will be there forever in our hearts.
To my fellow students, I would like to convey that never forget our identities and the load of responsibly on our shoulders. We should compensate our title as “the most precious future resource of Tibet” life is promise and to achieve it, you need to challenge the obstacles. No man has ever achieve great without an iron will power and determined strength. So do set up your goals and put hard work with a right attitude. Sow a seed today so that you can reap the product tomorrow.
In a nut shell, I on behalf of all my batch mates, would like to thank you for your guidance and friendship that you have shared during our long run of togetherness. We appeal you all to continue your strength and coordination to achieve our common goal and put more efforts in the field where we have delayed. May you all will have a life of benediction and worthwhile in Gopalpur.

A Daughters’ Promise To Her Mother:
Sometimes life itself is so strange that we could never guess what life holds ahead for us.
There will be full of joys but sorrows too. There will be many hopes but lots of surprises too. Whatever it is everybody wants the best and hopes something better.
Since life is a road of rocks, we may fall down but I believe that we should stand up and go ahead. Life, what does life mean to you? To some, it means their career, to some, it means money and to some, it means their family, love and happiness. Life to everyone is different. As for me, life is a stage on which I am going to perform an act for my mom to convey that she means my life and to thank her for this life. Sometimes it occurs to me that whatever happens to me, I don’t care. Whether I will have a career, position and a name or not. But what life means to me is my mom. Every mother goes through a way we can never face ourselves in life. And my mom had gone through the hell alone.
It also came in my mind that I should be with my mom. So that I can help her in some ways or other. But I know she would never let me do that as she don’t want me to go through the ways she had come through. She just wants me to be strong, to be independent and to be able to stand by my own.
Being a really careless girl, I sometimes forget my own goal and couldn’t be the one I wish to be. But I promise to my mom that even if I couldn’t become a great woman and couldn’t make you proud of me, I will never let you down and I will never make you ashamed of me. And that will my promise to you mom.

The Inexplicable Sensation:
This unforgettable sweet and bitter experience, that stays in the depth of my heart. That is… Earlier I kept silent from my crony who was actually extremely easy to help and innocent like me. But due to fate and misfortune, our bonded heart cracked into pieces. And since that bad day, we kept silent just like mid night. That’s why, I was badly hurt and felt lonely. But I don’t know what else I should do than just apologize her and the result was such beautiful. I immediately received a letter and it brought tears in my eyes as I went through it. Suddenly all those heavy loads I carried during the silence were vanished and the beautiful times we shared were flashing back in my mind.
Thus, now we are as usual, having fun together and love each other.

How Should I Get Up When I Am Down:
As the dew stands fresh over the green pastures of land, and the rising sun throws out its splendid orange-red glows of first day in all its majesty. Everyday I wonder about my future when I limp through life with broken plans and shattered dreams.
As matter stands, I could see the light of an obstacle which always stuck and stands ahead. Might be a Karma.
I always dream and I feel myself, How beautiful to have the sun on my face and the sea spread out in front like a grand picture. Surely, its hard to deal with that sort of dream as I am fortunate of being an introvert student. Though taking a step further, I keep running away from the situation that I find disagreeable. I feel bad when I realize I am not responsible for my country and parents. How can I take response over them?
Though I have to spend my school life lonely and empty due to their absence, I am compelled to study well as it’s a duty that I am obliged to. I dare to be part of an anxious matter and dream of being a free bird. And all these are the things that brings me in to life when I fall aback.

My Mother’s Love Is The Sweetest:
My mother’s love is the sweetest for me because she cares and loves me a lot more than anything in the world. Her love is the sweetest as she is there when ever I need her.
She is always in my heart and mind, guiding me to the right path. She is always the first one to celebrate my success and victory. When I am sad, she pours her heart out on me and I am all swept by her love.
She understands my feelings before I tell her and she is all set to help me when I am in trouble. Now we are miles apart, but I always feel so near to her in my heart and I am more in love with her all these days. I know how she hopes for my happy and well being.
There by I wish all the happiness to her and yes I want to make her sure that nothing is sweeter than her love. And I love my mother till my last breathe.

A Horrible Dream:
It was dusk and its raining cat and dogs with a torrential wind outside.
I trembled on my bed and dropped into a deep sleep.
Meow! I heard a sound from bushes neared by a pit, So I looked hither and thither and stepped forward a little. In a second or less, I fell into the pit with upside down. With a groan, I looked here and there for a while. Ah! My eyes here rested on a cobra, which raised his head above and looked at me. My heart was in my mouth. I trembled with fear and besides, I could feel that my face drained with red. In addition, I was dump struck and I found that death is imminent. But then I remembered that, snakes are going to attack only the moveable things. So I stood very still and found a small ray of hope to escape. To be candid, about five minutes, I was at my wits end and besides, a plea fell from my lip “God bless me”!
Oh! A brown and black moveable thing caught my attention and I pondered for a while and them found that it was a mongoose. Just then, the snake ran off like a fast stream.
And then, only then, I raised my fist in the air and expressed my victory to the creatures all around me. I at last, climbed up from the pit and sped home and I was in cloud nine then. Suddenly, I heard my brother shouting in my ears and I jumped off the bed and found that I was only dreaming.

The love. Said to be the strongest bond that ever been known to the world. the love between a son and a mom, The love between a brother and a sister and a sister is true. true to a heart that knows the joy of caring and sharing. The love that makes our world brighter. Where every moment turns into a memory to be cherished by the passage of time. But, the love between a boy and a girl is a sheer lie. It holds no joys, it is only a waste of time.. the time that when used properly can turn sand into gold. Who knows.. only god knows the truth about love. Who knows? the girl may have something in her mind rather than love or the boy may have some other tricks to play. There may be some other reason to love you someone, whom she hasn't seen before a month, a year or a decade and she even know that you existed in the world.
Like a game of chess, the love between two persons of opposite sex is played with brain, it doesn't mater anything to the heart that feels everything. It doesn't have a slightest touch with our emotions. Today the girl who loves you dearly will tomorrow be seen running after a boy that she finds much more attractive than you. A boy may love you today but are you sure that he will love you tomorrow when you grow wrinkles on your face and when you start to look at the ground(I mean when your body bends as you grow older) or when you suffer from some financial strains, will your spouses love you like she/he did when you have money in your account and power in your hands?
Many questions arise from love, when you rest for a while and take some far-sighted looks upon the topic. Romeo and Juliet found only in stories, Leila and Manu are only found in some influential films, where a girl will willingly die for the boy she loves. But in real life, can a girl die for a boy whom she had known only for a year or at the most five years? It won't be a hard decision for someone to choose between a little known so called love and a family, a family that cares and the parents who love you and the family whom you have shared the same roof and the parents who booked after you from the time when you don't know who you are to the present day. Even when we can look after a right decision our parents seem to be much worried about our decision makings, they won't let you fall in a ditch or even if you fell they will rarely help you out. They would put everything they have to save you but the love...you have possessed only for a year or so won't be able to sacrifice what they have at the most they will send you only a card saying "Get well soon". When you are in hospital and "Welcome Back" when you are fine to show how much they cared. But in between this, they might be busy with someone else in a candlelit dinner or in a discotheque.
How can one be sure that the one whom she loves today can be your worst unknown enemy tomorrow?
Now it's 21st century where the world seems to be revolving much faster due to the progress in science and technology. With time great thoughts have invented many new things, like the mobile phone, the computer, the automobiles and what more. And the one who you love may own a car or a bike or at least a mobile after having a romantic day with your love and your loving partner will call for someone else the next day when you are busy with your work. there are no rules like dedication, affection and sincerity in the game called love. All you have to do is you should know the disadvantages of the game where there are no advantages and the tricks to play.
Love is a maze, where one can be bewildered and can be lost in the world of dilemma, where everything will start to fall apart, your goal, your future and your bright life you have seen ahead will all be shattered like a stone hitting a window pane. Slowly and gradually love will leave nothing in your mind like a termite eating up the big trees and leaving it hollow underneath the strong looking bark. In most of the cases(foolish) Romeos and Juliets take up drugs to heal the wound they had got in their heart. When their lovers double crossed them. And the drug never leave them till they die a dirty death. Like this, every sweet(or sour) love story will always have a bad ending where the world seems to be dark for the heartbroken lover but to be true, life is not a fairy tale where a poor boy can wed a princess and ending with "They lived happily ever after". But we can find many loving couples fighting before the down and after the dusk.
In a society like ours we find different people of different faith and believe. Sometimes we have such stories about a person changing herself into religion (like Christian to an Islam, Buddhist to an Atheist) for lovers. How can a person change his or her fore-fathers beliefs that has been preserved so well. A lover will give you a lot of love, but when you look from the another angle you will finite fake. and from the other side of the angle of literate person's question" will he love me the same if I don't have an attractive body and face? love is a game in other side of the sense and all you should know is ,it has only sadness and short live happiness and real time wasting opportunity for both the loser and winner,
So falling in love with stranger is meaningless. and it is better to love your parents, sisters and kiths and kins and they will never let you fall and will be always behind you ever. when they themselves are in great problems remember" behind every beautiful face and a loving smile there is a beautiful beast with a loving sword."

Our school teacher
Teacher solves problems and teaches us what he knows. Our school has so many teachers. They are young (majority of them). They are all Tibetans. They teach us very well. They are hard working and they have time for us. Some of them are from India itself but most of them are from Tibet just like us. They are like our parents; we shouldn’t forget their kindness. I like TCV school teachers very much. Our school teachers are very good to us and they always advise us to be good human beings.

My home
When I first came to this school, I was send to home no. 21. Then I was sent to home no.13. I saw a drastic change in these two homes. Home 13 is very clean and the girl’s room was much cleaner than home 21’s. In my previous home, girls and boys aren’t friendly to each other, but in home no.13 all are very friendly. I was benifited a lot by coming to this home. But I do love both of my homes.

Beautiful dream
One day when I was sleeping, I dreamed a beautiful dream. I was a doctor but without any degrees. I was to operate a man. But he wasn’t sick. He was letting me to operate him because he wanted to give me a chance. He was very kind. But suddenly I heard a sound of ding-ding …I felt something has been hidden on my head. I opened my eyes very slowly and saw a woman standing in front of me. Since it was dark I couldn’t see her face properly. I stood up and quickly switched on the light. It was my mother. She was crying. I asked her why she was crying. She told me to wear my new clothes. I was asked to leave for India. She told me to study hard.

The two lands
When I was small, I didn’t understand much. I believed that china is my motherland. But why was the truth hidden from me? After so many years I have came to know the difference between china and Tibet. I realized that calling china, as my motherland is a mistake. But thank god, I learnt which is my real land and family.
Why Chinese invaded our country so cruelly? Thank god, they didn’t torture me. Till now I considered china as the most important one, but after going through the details I knew what they really are. Now I hate them.
I now know that china has tortured its neighboring countries and claim that Tibetans are its citizens. But that’s not true. We are two distinct nations from many thousand years back. Lastly I want to say that we shouldn’t waste our time for mere enjoyments. We should unite and fight for our nation.
Long live His Holiness, may peace prevail.

Reading habit
Happy person is the one who has reading habit when he is young, because he will have a life long source of happiness. As long as he keeps reading books, he will never feel lonely. Reading gives the utmost pleasure. Some books are simply written and they are easy to understand. But just as we need good food for our health, we must read good books too for good knowledge. Books are your best friends; they’ll never betray you. So read as much as you can.

My Mom
You care for me day and night. You make my heart full of joy and happiness. My dear mom, how can I reach you? You are far away and I feel lonely. I miss you & I love you. Oh! God, how can I have a happy life without her? I will repay your kindness as soon as possible, my dear mom. I have my promise to repay your kindness and I will do it sooner or later.

Some day, somewhere
Some times I feel the presence of everybody around me. Some times I see an unknown face that keeps telling me something. She sits with me in my dreams, yet refuses to tell who she is. But I know that some day, somewhere I will meet her. I am waiting for that day.

My mother land
How wonderful my motherland Tibet is with so many different things. Also it’s the highest plateau of the world. Tibet is surrounded by high snow peaked mountains. Its environment is very clean and seems like a paradise. We know that clean nature is important for good health. People over there are very compassionate and religious. In 1959, Chinese captured our motherland; they are very cruel. But we Tibetans shouldn’t get sad, study hard and get back Tibet soon.

Snow
Its color is white. When sun shines it melts. Since Dharamsala is a hill station, snow falls in winter. That time it’s so cold. While I was in Norbulinka this winter I felt cold too. Snow covers all the mountainous regions and its so lovely when you get a look at it. People take photographs standing on the snows with snow balls in their hands. Some make snow mans. Snow is a beautiful word; we feel cool just by hearing it mentioned.
